Got a Better Idea

Caught this story about a group of hackers who are "declaring cyber war" against the city of Orlando, FL.

Got a better idea.

One that might actually make an impact.

Let's get a group of 100,000 people who are hunger advocates, who believe that such a law is inhumane and unjust.  Let's descend upon Orlando, FL en masse.  Each of us needs to bring a couple of packages of food.  Let's go to where the homeless and hungry congregate.  We'll invite the police to be there as well.  100,000 of us will hand out food to the hungry and homeless at one time and invite ourselves to be arrested.

Non-violent, civil disobedience.  Lifting up a principle worth being arrested for.  Feeding the hungry.  Feeding Jesus.  And more in line with what Jesus called His followers to do.  Very reminiscent of what is written in 1 Peter 2:

19For it is a credit to you if, being aware of God, you endure pain while suffering unjustly. 20If you endure when you are beaten for doing wrong, what credit is that? But if you endure when you do right and suffer for it, you have God’s approval. 21For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his steps.

Better than cyber warfare, don't you think?
