Is this what some lawyers have done to our country? (I have to throw in that "some" since I know some very good lawyers who are not sue happy and really try to work in the legal system for good.)
There was a time and a place where people who stood up to crime and villiany were celebrated. They were given kudos and rewarded for the risks they took in apprehending those who would make our society a worse place.
Now, such folks, in some places, lose their jobs for standing up to crime.
Shame.
Why?
Because of the legal ramifications.
Because someone might sue.
Lord, help us.
